Why do I Crave Sugar All the Time?
As quite a good alternative to dieting, review this video by Zoe Sofia. It provides some revealing information why we sometimes have such a hard time with craving sugar. There is some surprising information on why this happens and simple things you can do in choosing what you eat and drink that can really make a difference. It’s a little long (20 minutes) but well worth your time. The whole idea is that, instead of a diet menu plan, which can alter natural patterns of hunger and thirst, you can try this approach: become well informed on how your body works in terms of hunger, thirst, and the impact of what you eat, then adopt a more healthy pattern of what you eat to control your weight and live a healthier lifestyle. The following is an outline of the topics covered:

thank you
When I was younger, I would crave sugar like crazy and eat a pound bag of skittles in a day or two. Now being 26, the cravings have just pasted. cravings for sugar doesn’t really ever happen now.
Well that’s good. The kind of craving sugar I mostly run into for adults relates to what they eat. If it’s relatively low in sugar they don’t have the cravings – but high in sugar results in sugar cravings in a lot of cases. Thanks for the comment.
I’ve had issues for years with sugar control and looking to totally eliminate its consumption for at least 90 days. Any advice would be great.
Is splenda ok?
Splenda and other artificial sweeteners are a big help in staying off sugar, but there is evidence now that they too, may be hindering dieters. No one has yet, for instance, proven with a clinical trial that diet sodas help you lose weight. You’d think, that after several decades of experience with diet sodas, the soda manufacturers would have proven that. Since they haven’t you have to wonder!! See this post on diet soda effectiveness.
