Low Carb Whey Protein Bars Recipe

This is a great recipe for Low Carb Whey Protein Bars, flavored with chocolate and coconut to quickly and easily make a homemade protein bar for a low carb diet.  This is just the thing to stave off cravings and is one of the reasons low carb diets are so popular. There is no cooking involved.  The bars are stored in the refrigerator till you need them.

The directions and video are from LowCarbMeals.us.  Combine the following ingredients and mix together in a bowl to form a paste.  It would be best to review the video before buying ingredients.  The video provides some tips on what to buy.  Take off your rings to do the mixing as this will get a bit messy.

  • 1  TBS of Cream
  • ½  C of Cocoa
  • 2  TBS fiberfit or other non-caloric sweetener
  • 1 TBS Canola or Safflower oil
  • 1 TBS of vanilla

Then mix in the following ingredients to form a dough.

  • ½ C of chocolate whey protein
  • ½ C of unsweetened dried shredded coconut
  • 3 large TBS of peanut butter or raw almond butter
  • Dash of salt
Then add nuts or anything else you’d care to add.  Combine this all together then form it into a single log.  Slice the log into individual servings which can be wrapped in cellophane and kept in the refrigerator till use.
