How to Stop Craving Sweets
Craving sweets is just a part of life for many of us, but there are ways to put a stop to it. One of the weapons you can use to stop craving sugar is to find good substitutes for your favorite sweets. Some may be low in calories and some may not, so be careful in doing this. Many substitutes offer roughly the same calories as your favorites, and taste much the same, but offer additional nutrients that will improve your health, so, in balance, they are a better choice. If you are trying to lose weight though, stick to the substitutes that are lower in calories than your favorites. Extra nutrients, even though better for you, aren’t going to do much to help you lose weight. The following information will be helpful and may be helpful in helping to decide if you want to try out the only successful online sugar detox program.
This video was from the Diet Revolution Website provides some good suggestions for substitutes in your journey to find out how to stop craving sweets. Some of the substitutions are for pasta, rice, crackers, bread, and sugar. Be careful, however, to do your own detective work on these substitutes if you are, in any way, trying to lose weight. One of the suggestions, for instance, is to use honey instead of sugar as a sweetener. Honey, by the spoonful, is actually sweeter than sugar and packs the same punch as sugar in terms of calories. It is suggested in the video because it is natural, is metabolized slightly differently, and contains additional healthful nutrients – not particularly because it will help you lose weight! So, good luck with this – hope it helps you stop sugar cravings.
