Diet Solution Program – Thumbs Up or Down?

Would it end up being just another low fat diet that is so hard to tolerate (and also so unhealthy) that most end up quitting it? Actually there are two problems…
The Diet Solution Program (DSP) turned out to be quite comprehensive, covering everything from nutrition education to the right foods to eat, to recipes and menus, and everything one would need to be successful. It is a lot of material though, so it would be hard to know, up front, whether you’d like it or not. I was hesitant myself in buying it for that reason, but I’ve found a solution for that, which I’ll pass on to you.
The other concern was whether this fit within the category of a low carb, moderate to high fat diet, which, based on what I’ve found will be the most effective and the healthiest diet you can use. It turned out, as you can see and hear for yourself in the following video, that Isabel De Los Rios believes strongly in reducing the total carb count for a diet, allowing a reasonable amount to support balanced nutrition. In fact, that is why she has made this diet flexible, in order to handle differences in how individuals deal with protein and carbohydrates in their diet. Dr. Atkins himself recommended that dieters use a very low carb content in their diet until they reach a goal weight and then, very carefully, add back in selected carbohydrates until they establish a mix that will allow them to maintain their weight (and not gain it back). So, to sum it up, this is a problem only for those dieters who have already decided that they will only go forward on an extremely low carbohydrate type diet – and not many of us are that hard-core.

Based on your review of the Diet solution program, it seems very effective and definitely worth a try. I really don’t like those diet programs that force you to starve because as we all know that such diet plans are extremely unhealthy and hard to follow.

I agree with your statement about low calorie or low fat diets because with them, you don’t consume enough energy laden foods to get through the day without feeling hungry,. With the low carb or paleo diets, however, saturated fats (instead of carbs) supply enough fats (which don’t hurt you or cause cholesterol problems). These fat are converted to glucose which is fed into your bloodstream slowly enough during the day that you feel satiated, energetic, and fine all day. It works like a charm.
This book is very simple and easy to implement. Weight loss is a actually simple process but it involves consistency and action.
